Save me, but I don’t wanna be saved

One scary and stressful moment I had this year was uprooting my life with no clear direction on where I was going.

I had two weeks to figure it out…

Most days and nights, I would be pacing from one corner of my apartment building parking lot to the other, constantly, trying to brainstorm my way through this transition.

I was missing the two things I needed…

Housing and a job.

With my mantra: Trust the process, it will all work out better than you can imagine.

I managed to stay sane.

I also managed to find the two things I needed right in the knick of time (literally 2 days before my lease was up)

I can’t even share the feeling of relief I felt. (Shout out to Families for Depression Awareness and my parents, literally god-sent)

If anyone reading this is going through a time of distress because of life, you’re not alone. Everything will be okay. Ground yourself, breathe, and take it one day at a time. It will all work out in your favor. You got this.

In the comments, share a story or a time you were put in a corner, and all you had was faith to get you through. How did it work out? (or better yet, how is it going?)

But like the womb, our potential cannot be realized if it is never brought into the light.
