Ecotherapy Coaching
Moving Forward With Nature

You step off the pavement, and your nervous system downshifts, and the pace inside you eases. The air fills your lungs and your spirit. Your shoulders drop, and you’re greeted with a smile and a tree wave. The session opens in a relationship with Nature, yourself, and the guide.

Seasons mirror the inner landscape, and each pause opens a doorway. The Spring brings tender beginnings, fragile and brave. Summer warms the skin and welcomes being seen and exploratory. Autumn brings deeper color and turn over, where what is complete can be honored and released. Winter invites quiet so roots can deepen and clarity can rise from stillness.

Ecotherapy Coaching unfolds as a living conversation with the natural world, where gentle prompts and somatic check‑ins give language to what is true and connect sensation with emotion and meaning. You’ll be guided through your inner landscape to surface insights and actions you can carry forward. Along the way, your senses are engaged with supportive elements chosen for resonance. A journal, crystals, self‑massage tools, essential oils, dried herbs, and other materials are offered as grounding and ritual companions to deepen focus and invite calm.

Meet Your Fun Guide!

My name is Jada McCray (she/her). I am the daughter of African American parents from the Southern United States, descendants of West Africans brought here through the Atlantic slave trade. I grew up in the Miccosukee, Seminole, and Mascogo territories, now so-called Orlando, Florida. I currently reside in the Pawtucket and Massachusett territories, now so-called Watertown, Massachusetts.

I am a certified life coach with a degree in Health Education and training in ecotherapy. My work blends the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual into one rooted practice, guided by cultural care and the living presence of nature. I create spaces where the body can breathe, the heart can soften, the mind can clear, and the spirit can rise, allowing transformation to take root in ways that feel both natural and lasting.

Outside of my professional work, I am drawn to practices that keep me rooted in rhythm with life. I love tending to my plants and garden, moving with the seasons, and listening closely to what the land is teaching. My spiritual path flows through ancestral connection, ritual, and energy practices that honor both the seen and unseen. I weave movement into my daily life through boxing, dancing, and mindful walks. Reading, writing, and creating nourish my inner fire, while stillness, meditation, and dreamwork keep me attuned to the whispers of alignment. These practices shape how I show up, carrying magic, curiosity, and reverence into every space I hold.

Ecotherapy coaching is coaching that happens in relationship with nature. Instead of sitting across from each other in an office, we might walk through the woods, sit by a river, or pause in a quiet garden. I use questions, reflection, and gentle practices to help you notice what is happening inside you and around you, so you can leave with more clarity and grounded next steps.

Yes. Every new client begins with a discounted Zoom session. It is our chance to meet, set intentions, and decide together if in person sessions feel right.

Sessions are 60-75 minutes. That gives us time to slow down, breathe, and move through conversation and nature based practice without rushing.

When you book, you’ll see a few outdoor locations to choose from around the Greater Boston area. In our first ecotherapy coaching session, we’ll talk about which spot feels best for you based on scenery, travel, and comfort. Each place is chosen to be safe, accessible, and supportive of the work we’ll be doing together.

Bring the basics you’d take for a comfortable walk outdoors. A water bottle, walking shoes, and layered clothing for the day’s weather are most important. You might also want a journal and pen, a light snack, and sun protection like a hat, sunglasses, or sunscreen. A small daypack can help keep your hands free. If there are items that support you personally, such as a blanket, spiritual offerings, or medical needs like an EpiPen, feel free to bring those too. Most of all, bring yourself as you are.

After you book, I send an Info Letter that explains where we will meet, how to prepare, a back up location, and what the session will be like. It is a simple guide so you do not have to guess what to expect.

Payment is made at booking through Calendly. This holds your spot and allows me to prepare fully for our time together. All sales are final, but you may receive credit toward a future session if you need to cancel. You can reschedule up to 24 hours before your session through the link in your confirmation email.

Yes. I set aside one reduced-rate spot each month for people who need support. These sessions are half price. Ask for financial assistance during your first call to check availability or send an email to jada@radicalrootswellness.com.

If you cancel at least 24 hours before your session, we can reschedule. Cancellations made later than that or no shows cannot be refunded.

Session one is a gentle assessment of how you connect with nature. We’ll explore spirituality, lifestyle, food choices, time in nature and with animals, and any cultural practices that matter to you. We’ll name your goals and outcomes to guide future sessions.

The first session is required on Zoom for safety and planning. After that, we can meet outdoors or continue on Zoom. Don’t forget to use the code FIRST to receive 50% off your first session on Zoom.

No. This is coaching and education, not psychotherapy or medical care. I can collaborate with your providers if helpful.

Yes. We adapt pacing, distance, and environment. Zoom is always available. Share any access needs when booking.

We’ll decide together: adjust timing, choose a different setting, or meet on Zoom. Weather plans are in your Info Letter.

I don’t bill insurance. Some clients have been able to use HSA or FSA cards when allowed by their plan. Please check with your provider to confirm if your sessions qualify.

I do seasonally. If you’re interested, mention it in your booking or email jada@radicalrootswellness.com to be added to the waitlist.

Yes. A simple liability waiver is signed once before your first session and kept on file.

Yes, with parent or guardian consent. We’ll discuss appropriateness and safety in the first Zoom session.
